Meet our Care Team

The level of Care staff varies from village to village and is determined by the residents at their annual Budget meeting. Please contact the relevant village manager for details of care services available.

Registered Nurses

Registered Nurses are available in some of our villages to conduct blood pressure clinics, visit ill and frail residents and monitor the health and well-being of all residents.

The Registered Nurses coordinate services to residents, either by linking them to community-based services or by managing in-house personal care services on a user-pays basis.

With your permission, and always in liaison with the Village Manager, our Registered Nurses may liaise with your doctor and other health professionals on your behalf.

Personal Care Assistants

Personal care assistants may provide personal care services to residents under the supervision of the Village Manager in conjunction with the Registered Nurse. These services are provided on a user-pays basis.

Services may include assistance with bathing, dressing, meals and companionship.  By arrangement, personal care assistants or an external Service Provider personally introduced to you, can also supply housework services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and shopping.

Village Carers

At some of our villages, Village Carers sleep over on-site to ensure that the Emergency Response system is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. They are thoroughly trained in first aid and CPR techniques.

At our other villages, this service is manned by an external agency to ensure that appropriate assistance is available to residents whenever an emergency button is activated. Our carers provide care and assistance for residents, under the supervision of the Village Manager and Registered Nurses.
