Living Choice purchases land at Wises Farm

Television and press journalists congregated at Wises Farm, Maroochydore on 30 May 2007 for the announcement of Living Choice's purchase of a prime 6-hectare site close to the CBD. The $20-million purchase will further enhance the Sunshine Coast's reputation as a haven for retirees.

Director Ian Tregoning (pictured left) said the site, which will be available in 2010, would prove to be one of the company's most popular villages.

"Located in the heart of Maroochydore with the Sunshine Plaza just minutes away, our village at the Wises Farm development will be popular because of its proximity to the CBD, water and parkland views,  easy access to the surrounds as well as the many facilities that this integrated community offers."

Chardan Development Group commenced bulk earthworks in August 2006. This phase will provide almost 35 hectares of lakes and parklands surrounded by over 8kms of walking and bike paths. Wises Farm (to be known as Sunshine Cove) will be home to approximately 6 000 residents.
