Living Choice Home Care - 1300 001 431
The philosophy of Living Choice is:
- The choice to stay in your home
- The choice to have care brought to you
- The choice not to be separated from your partner if extra care is required and can be delivered
- The choice to enjoy ongoing independence
- The choice to continue to live life to the full
Where possible, Living Choice embraces the concept of bringing support services, if needed, to you. Indeed, the whole principle of Living Choice aims to keep older Australians as independent and comfortable as possible.
Our Care Program enables you to:
- Live independently for as long as possible;
- Be gradually supported by a range of personal care services, rather than be moved prematurely to an aged care facility when only some services may be needed;
- Retain the dignity of remaining in your own independent accommodation while being supported by services brought to you.
Living Choice Home Care services are also now available in selected suburbs on the Sunshine Coast, Central Coast and in Adelaide.
Living Choice Home Care can arrange the delivery of a range of home care services in the comfort of your own home. If you have a Government subsidised Home Care Package, you have the opportunity to transfer your package from your current Provider to Living Choice Home Care.

Our Care Team
Registered Nurses
Registered Nurses are available in some of our retirement villages to conduct blood pressure clinics, visit ill and frail residents and monitor the health and well-being of all residents.
The Registered Nurses* (where available) coordinate services to residents, linking them to the Living Choice Home Care Coordinators at each village.
With your permission, and always in liaison with the Village Manager, our Registered Nurses may liaise with your doctor and other health professionals on your behalf.
Village Carers
At many of our villages, Village Carers sleep over on-site to ensure that emergency response is available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. They are thoroughly trained in first aid and CPR techniques. At Living Choice Twin Waters, on-site staff respond to emergencies 8am to 5pm on weekdays, while after-hours emergency response is provided by a Registered Nurse at the co-located Estia Health Twin Waters.
24 hour emergency assistance response system
When you live in a Living Choice village you know that assistance is only the push of a button away. Each home has two emergency buttons linked to on-site trained staff and the Emergency Response Provider.
For any medical problem – a fall, an illness or other emergency – just press your emergency button.
The staff members who respond to the Emergency Response system on-site are fully trained in Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation techniques, and are equipped to initiate the assistance you require. If a doctor or ambulance is needed, this will be arranged.
New homes have a “Help Phone” installed which allow high quality, two-way hands-free speech via loudspeaker between the Monitoring Centre Operator and the user. With a simple press of the button you have contact with a qualified nurse 24 hours a day.
The Emergency Response system is monitored around the clock and its use is included in your monthly levy.
Co-located Aged Care Facilities
In some cases, moving to an Aged Care Facility can be necessary. At Living Choice Glenhaven and Living Choice Twin Waters, Living Choice sold land adjacent to its villages to encourage a seamless transition from independent living to high care. Estia Health Twin Waters and Arcare Glenhaven have both now opened, however access to these facilities is dependent on availability.
*Registered Nurses not available in all villages – please consult the Village Manager.
