Karen Grabau reports
More than 100 Twin Waters View Club members and Living Choice Twin Waters residents (including two brave men) enjoyed a lovely afternoon at a fundraising fashion parade at the village.
The food was delicious and plentiful and the bubbles flowed along with the conversation and laughter. Rosa from ‘Fashion on the Go’ entertained everyone with her expertise on the latest trends and colours as five View Club models casually walked around the room allowing the audience an opportunity to touch and feel the gorgeous fabrics.
After the parade the auditorium doors were opened, revealing a room that had been transformed into a beautiful boutique with racks of clothing and accessories plus the all-important red SALE banners. Of course we all went mad trying to find ‘that perfect outfit’!
Many thanks go to the Living Choice village community who supported the
event and for being so welcoming. Our very special thanks go to Thelma, Dorothy and Ian for working tirelessly in the kitchen and behind the scenes to ensure that everything ran smoothly and everyone was happy. What would we do without them?!
The proceeds from the event were dedicated to the support and sponsorship of the Twin Waters View Club’s five ‘learning for life’ primary school students. These students are from Australian underprivileged families who are registered with the Smith Family.
