Living Choice has a duty of care to protect the health and safety of all its residents and staff members and preventative measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 have been rolled out at all Living Choice villages, including closing the leisure centres and cancelling resident activities.
At Living Choice Fullarton, its popular restaurant, Damien on Fisher Restaurant is well-used by resident and members of the public alike and this presented a unique challenge which required a proactive response.
Following the Government’s announcement that restaurants and cafes can serve take-aways only, it was decided that the restaurant would serve take-away meals to residents only. Meals are also being delivered to their apartments. The situation will be reviewed regularly.
However, the Wellness Centre remains open for selected essential services and a separate entrance to facilitate public access to the Wellness Centre rooms is now open at the right hand side of the building. Therefore the Wellness Centre services are still available to the public. The wellness centre services include physiotherapy, dental, podiatry, remedial massage and dietetics. Please contact relevant practitioners to make an appointment.
Living Choice apologises for any inconvenience but it is vital that we work together at this difficult time to minimise the risk to our residents and staff members.
