Live cabaret returned to Living Choice Fullarton on 12th September and, as promised, it was a winner with tickets sold out long before the event. Due to the COVID-Safe guidelines, a maximum of 74 people could be accommodated and no dancing could take place but this meant everyone could really appreciate the fabulous entertainment presented by Adelaide Fringe favourite Louise Blackwell on vocals and talented musicians Dave McEvoy on piano, Peter Riedel on saxophone/clarinet, John Aué on double bass and Josh Baldwin on drums. Together they took the audience into the world of the ‘chanson française’ with beautiful arrangements of songs written or sung by a variety of French artists.
Guests also enjoyed a delicious 2-course dinner prepared and served by Damien on Fisher Restaurant. Regional Manager Brian Lynch, invited a few lucky clients to the event too and said it was a great success. Hats off to the organisers Helen Bonet, Gill Miller and their team for the fabulous décor and for once again arranging such an enjoyable event.
The next Cabaret evening will be held on Saturday 12th November and will feature the hugely popular Will Metzer and the Foenander Brothers. Further details will be available shortly.
