Living Choice Australia Ltd and Flagstaff Hill Golf Club have entered into an agreement to bring the first integrated golf course/retirement village to South Australia.
The agreement, subject to successful approvals, includes the sale of a portion of the Golf Club’s land for the development of a new Living Choice Retirement Village for up to 200 residents.
Flagstaff Hill Golf Club Captain, Paul Shillabeer, says the opportunity to partner with Living Choice will secure the club’s future for the next 50 years and beyond.
Living Choice director, Graham Hobbs, a keen golfer, says the integrated golf course/retirement village will have many benefits for golf club members and the proximity to local shops and medical facilities will be an added advantage for village residents.
Fellow director Ian Tregoning, who leads Living Choice’s large team of in-house architects and construction staff, says he is looking forward to bringing the Living Choice standard of retirement living to Flagstaff Hill.
It is proposed that the village will comprise 133 homes, including villas and apartments. Living Choice has committed to an extensive renovation of the existing clubhouse and will work closely with the club committee to finalise the upgrade.
Living Choice is planning an Information Session regarding the proposed village at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club. To be kept informed of developments, email email@example.com
