5-star Aged Care comes to Glenhaven
Living Choice Glenhaven residents were treated to a VIP preview of their stunning new neighbour, Arcare Glenhaven, on Friday 22nd September, one day before the keenly anticipated aged care residence opened its doors to the public.
The lavishly appointed residence has certainly changed Living Choice residents’ perception of an “aged care facility”. From the magnificent lobby with its striking chandelier to the spacious ensuite rooms and elegant lounge areas and dining rooms, the attention to detail was evident. However, residents were also impressed with Arcare’s innovative relationship-focused approach which strives to encourage respectful and consistent relationships with its residents.
Arcare Glenhaven manager, Stephanie Lau, said dedicated staff would work regular shifts with the same small group of residents every time they came to work. “This commitment to continuity fosters trust and friendship between residents, staff and families.”
