Because one is never enough, Living Choice Twin Waters held a morning tea, and an afternoon tea, for residents on 14 December in celebration of Christmas.
Hosted by Thelma Richardson and her amazing team of ambassadors, 56 residents arrived in the Auditorium with big smiles and friendly banter for morning tea.
The positive energy in the room was palpable and so it was the perfect opportunity to include December birthday celebrations. Birthday presents were shared, cake for those celebrating and a singalong was had.
Beautiful raffle prizes were drawn and the morning tea was an indulgent array of Christmas cake, shortbreads, chocolates and mince tarts.
Pastor Dale Dowling and his wife Donna, from The Shack Community Centre in Nambour, also attended and thanked the residents for their generous contributions of groceries and cash.
And finally, afternoon tea was held in the lounge of the Leisure Centre. Despite being a smaller crowd of 30 residents, they maintained the spirit of Christmas and had a wonderful time.
