A fitting tribute to Gina Lollobrigida
Living Choice resident and host extraordinaire, Robert Airs, hosted another superb luncheon for his `Tribute to Gina Lollobrigida’ event on Friday 12th May.
On arrival, residents enjoyed a glass of champagne or wine with nibbles, followed by a sit-down three-course Italian feast in honour of the Italian actress, model and artist.
Robert and his faithful helpers prepared and served an entrée of minestrone soup with garlic bread, with a main meal of homemade Italian pizza and salad followed by a dessert of tiramisu with Italian chocolates.
Robert was delighted that 46 residents attended the luncheon which he very much enjoyed cooking and putting on for the village.
With content residents full of Italian cuisine, it was time to relax further and be entertained with a special screening of the movie Solomon and Sheba in the auditorium.
