A new adventure for much-loved Jenny
Since 2005, much-loved Sales Consultant, Jenny Trovato, has been helping retirees to find a home that suits them at Living Choice’s retirement villages on the Central Coast. In that time, she has developed a great empathy with prospective residents and existing residents, many of whom have referred their friends to Jenny.
Now, it is Jenny’s turn to “retire and smell the roses” or, in her case, go caravanning around Australia with her partner Steve Ward and indulge in her passion for painting. She is also looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren.
Speaking before her farewell lunch at The Higher Grounds Café at Kincumber, Jenny said she was “excited but also a little sad” at the prospect of her retirement after working for the company for the past 16 years. “I’ve so enjoyed my time at Living Choice. It’s been very busy but exciting and rewarding because I have met so many people and their families. It does not feel like `work’ because every day is so different,” she said.
Known for her caring nature, Jenny said she always tried to think of her clients as her “family” and treated them the way she would like a member of her own family to be treated. She said she would greatly miss her Living Choice colleagues but especially fellow sales consultant, Dave Grassby. “We were like family and we laughed every day. I watched his children grow up and we shared lots of ups and downs plus happy times together.”
Jenny and Steve recently purchased a Supreme Classic caravan and will take it on a few short trips to get familiar with it before venturing to Western Australia for six months. “It’s time to let go and start a new adventure!”
Many Living Choice staff members travelled to the Central Coast on Friday 26th February for Jenny’s farewell lunch, where she was presented with gifts from Living Choice and her colleagues. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement, Jen – we will miss you.
