A new chapter starts for Pauline
Living Choice Fullarton’s “Jill of all trades”, Pauline Yates, has been an important part of the team for the last seven years. Now, she has settled into a new role within the Finance Team at Your Nursing Association, just an 8-minute walk from her home.
Pauline was farewelled at a happy hour attended by residents and staff members on 14th April – and she was given a great send-off! In her time at Fullarton, she has been a receptionist, finance officer, PA to the General Manager, assisted with sales and, most recently, was Assistant Village Manager. She has even been an overnight Carer, when necessary.
Prior to joining the team at Fullarton, she was a business owner in the Riverland where she worked around 70 hours a week. She also worked at the Renmark Irrigation Trust as the Finance Officer for five and a half years.
Pauline said she would miss the residents at Living Choice Fullarton. “After spending the majority of my life living in small communities, the village reminded me of that small community living where the residents genuinely care for each other and look out for each other. They also know how to live out the best years of their life and work very hard to keep mentally and physically fit and healthy,” she said.
Pauline has a very busy home life and has three grown-up sons and eight grandchildren, all under the age of five. Her son, Brad Yates, runs Yates Physiotherapy at the village and she intends to continue the 7am Pilates class which is held every Monday.
Thank you for your service, Pauline and best of luck for the future.
