A red letter day for Estia Health Twin Waters
Living Choice Twin Waters’ smart new neighbour, Estia Health Twin Waters, got the “thumbs-up” from Federal Member of Parliament, Ted O’Brien, on Friday 15th December when he cut the ribbon and unveiled a plaque to celebrate its opening.
Mr O’Brien had high praise for the striking building and the facilities and services available but he also paid tribute to Estia Health CEO Norah Barlow and her team for their caring culture and for “putting people and families first”.
It was a very special day for Betty Daniels, the first resident to move into Estia Health Twin Waters. Betty, a much-loved resident of the Twin Waters suburb since 2001, was presented with a certificate to commemorate her move to Estia. Betty was very active on the Twin Waters Residents’ Association (TWRA) for many years. Her late husband, Warwick, was also a TWRA stalwart and the popular Lake View Park will soon be renamed Warwick Daniels Park in his honour.
Following the ribbon cutting, the residents enjoyed a fabulous concert by members of the Goodwin Performing Arts School and then tucked into a delicious High Tea prepared by Estia’s on-site chef.
Several Living Choice residents have made the move to Estia and are enjoying the opportunity to keep in regular contact with their friends at Living Choice.
