Alloura Waters bowlers triumph again!
Alloura Waters triumphed for the 3rd year in succession at the Retirement Village Bowls Challenge played at Avoca Beach Bowls Club. The rink of Don Paviour-Smith, Rob Capon and skip Jean Paviour-Smith scraped home by a small margin from a team from Waterford Village. Alloura Waters was also successful in the minor placings with Team Scroggie – Stan Burman, Noel Murphy and Ronne Scroggie – taking 3rd place.
Overall, Living Choice was very well-represented with 6 teams from Alloura Waters and 6 from Broadwater Court. In her response to receiving the Trophy, Jean Paviour-Smith thanked Living Choice for its generous sponsorship of the teams and for the provision of team shirts.
It was a great day out for Living Choice residents.
