Alloura Waters ladies embrace Mother’s Day

The residents of Living Choice Alloura Waters gathered in the community centre on 11th May to celebrate Mother’s Day.  As it was close to the regular “Have a Chat” morning tea, the two events were combined with a few men coming along as well.

The Social Committee members put on a lovely morning tea for around 40 residents that attended.  A lovely spread of cakes, slices and scones was enjoyed by all.

On arrival, everyone received a ticket for an entry into one of the ten door prizes that were donated by an anonymous resident.

A special touch to the morning was provided by Avril in the form of a small hand-made posie of flowers to all of the ladies who attended.
