Alloura Waters Walking Group back on the road

The Friday Walking Group at Living Choice Alloura Waters has claimed the credit of being the first activity to resume as residents embrace the slightly relaxed State Government COVID-19 restrictions.. Residents who are fully vaccinated are now permitted to gather in groups of five, providing they socially distance.

Photographer Kevern Rowe confessed that he persuaded the walkers to “bunch up briefly” for the photograph. “However, they did spread out once they started their walk,” he said.

“Many residents, and indeed many members of the local community as well, enjoy the great walks that we are privileged to enjoy here in Davistown. There is an abundance of scenic walks along what we call “The Waterfront” to the south of the village and around the back of the village, where there is a very long walking pathway which follows the Broadwater to Kincumber. Each of these walks is well away from traffic and they are very peaceful.”
