Art and apartments share the limelight at Fullarton

Living Choice Fullarton was a hive of activity on the evening of Thursday 3rd October, with 22 clients attending a Twilight Viewing of two apartments and more than 100 residents and visitors attending the opening of the October Art Expression @123 Fisher exhibition featuring the work of retired art lecturer, Peter Schulz.

Village manager, Brian Lynch, said there had been good feedback from those attending the Twilight Viewing and they enjoyed meeting the Resident Ambassadors and talking to them about life at the village. Everyone congregated in the Level 1 communal area for drinks and canapes before viewing two apartments that have just become available. Afterwards, they joined guests at the art exhibition to view Peter’s impressive collection.

Peter trained as an Art teacher at the Adelaide Teachers’ College and the SA School of Art. After teaching at various Technical High Schools, he went to Art College to study painting, drawing and printmaking and then lectured in Art at Torrens CAE (now UniSA). In his retirement he teaches at the Coromandel Community Centre in various mediums. The art exhibition is located adjacent to Damien on Fisher Restaurant and is open daily until 1st November.
