This year’s Artastic Art Group’s exhibition was a great success, with double the number of attendees and paintings sold.
Held at Living Choice Broadwater Court Waterfront Estate over three days, coordinator Graham Harrison said 322 art lovers attended the 2018 exhibition and there was a 70% percent increase in art sales and double the number of paintings sold. “Most importantly, the feedback received was high praise in the quality and presentation of the art works on display.”
Graham said 55 people attended the Happy Hour Preview on the Thursday, 75 came to the official opening on the Friday night and 192 people visited the exhibition on the Saturday. In addition, the raffle and lucky dips raised $1,000 for Aussie Helpers.
Graham said the Artastic Art Group currently comprised 24 artists, however following the exhibition he expected a further five artists would join the group next year. “Our pitch in the future will be making the public more aware of the large range and quantity of art that will be on display. It also shows what those in retirement can achieve at Living Choice.”
