Big turnout for final Hills Bowls Carnival of 2023
The annual Dural Bowling Club Triples Carnival attracted 22 teams from far and wide, including St Mary’s, Burwood and St Ives. Living Choice has sponsored the event for the past 13 years and Regional Manager, Gail Eyres and Sales Consultant, Carlie Gowenlock were there to congratulate the winners.
The Dural Bowls Carnival is the last of the eight Hills Clubs’ Carnivals for 2023 and Living Choice sponsored all eight carnivals.
Carlie Gowenlock took the opportunity to let the bowlers know that the sales office and display centre at Living Choice Galston had opened and she invited those interested to visit between Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm.
The competition format was 3 games of 10 ends of 2-Bowl Triples and the St Ives Bowling Club team took out the top prize. Living Choice also donated a gourmet hamper, which was won by Andrew Dadley.
Cheryle Hobart, Vice President of the Dural Bowls Club, said it was a great day of bowls and friendship.
“Our Carnival came to a conclusion with a tasty lunch served by Lasso’s Kitchen at the Dural Country Club. A big `thank-you’ to Living Choice for your wonderful support of bowls in our area.”
