‘Birthday Bash’ celebrated at Flagstaff Hill

Birthdays are treasured at every age and especially at Living Choice villages where residents’ birthdays are celebrated either monthly or every few months. Known as the “Birthday Bash”, the events are sponsored by Living Choice Marketing and arranged by the Village Managers and Resident Ambassadors.

With the resident community growing rapidly at Living Choice Flagstaff Hill, Village Manager, Frances Parolin and resident helpers held a Birthday Bash to celebrate the April, May and June birthdays. The event was held in the temporary clubhouse at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club and Frances said it was a great success.

“On the menu were pumpkin scones with fresh butter and traditional scones with jam and cream (kindly baked by resident Judy Oates), lamingtons, banana cake and mini muffins accompanied by coffees made by the golf club staff.”

Frances said a highlight was the first public presentation by “The Village Singers”, led by Peter Habib.

“They exceeded all expectations - they were so good! Four new residents, who are settling in the next couple of weeks, also attended and were immediately absorbed into the friendly, laughing group,” she added.
