Broadwater Court bowlers take top spot
Living Choice Broadwater Court and Alloura Waters residents competed at the annual Retirement Villages Bowls Challenge at Avoca Beach Bowling Club on 26th June – with Broadwater Court coming away with top honours!
The popular Mixed Triples event attracts teams from other retirement villages on the Central Coast. It was initiated by the Avoca Bowling Club in 2009 and was held annually until 2019. After a three-year hiatus due to COVID, the retirement village challenge was back with over 30 teams entering.
Living Choice, which proudly sponsored the entry fee and new Living Choice shirts, was thrilled when Broadwater Court entered six teams in the challenge and Alloura Waters two teams. Each team plays two games against two different teams drawn at random. The team with the highest aggregate margin over two games is declared the winner.
