Carols, Crafts and Christmas cheer!
Residents gathered in the Leisure centre of Living Choice Kawana island on Friday the 17th of November to celebrate Christmas and all things craft.
Organised by the craft ladies, the gathering was well received with a large crowd of around 80 residents enjoying carol singing with music and vocals provided by Gerry Lewis, Lois Davis and Peter Combs.
The trading tables were packed full of craft and goods so everyone could stock up on their gifts for Christmas.
Craft enthusiast and organiser, Janne Bernhard said it’s always a lovely afternoon and a lot of fun every year.
A lovely brunch was served along with a choice of champagne or orange juice which was enjoyed by everyone.
Thanks to our talented craft ladies who put on a lovely afternoon.
Money raised will go to local children’s charities and the total amount raised from today will be announced at next week's Toymakers handover.
