Celebrating 20 Years of Community at Living Choice Glenhaven

Living Choice Glenhaven recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a heartwarming event that brought together over 240 guests. The auditorium was abuzz with excitement as residents, families, and friends gathered to honour the vibrant history of the village and reflect on two decades of cherished memories.

The highlight of the day was the retrieval of the time capsule, planted 10 years ago, which held treasures from the past that offered a glimpse into the early days of the village. The contents were proudly displayed, sparking nostalgia and conversation among attendees. In a symbolic gesture, new items reflective of the next decade were carefully placed into the capsule, ready to be reburied for future generations to discover.

The celebration was a true community affair, with a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion. Special recognition was given to Enid, the first resident of Glenhaven, along with Keith and Joy, the newest residents to join this ever-growing family.

Director Graham Hobbs, who attended the event, praised the village for its remarkable sense of community and the strong bonds that have formed over the years. Graham spoke of Glenhaven as not just a beautiful place to live, but as an incredible testament to what a supportive and welcoming community can achieve.
