Ceramics and glass exhibition opens at Fullarton

The Art Expression @123 Fisher group at Living Choice Fullarton has invited students from the University of South Australia’s Contemporary Art program to showcase their glass and ceramics work at the village during October.

The exhibition opening was held on 6th October and was attended by more than 90 residents, art students and their family members. The onsite restaurant, Castello’s Cucina, provided delicious platters of food and the art group sponsored the wine, sparkling and soft drinks.

The exhibition, titled “Commence” is being held to celebrate the 2022 International Year of Glass and offers a glimpse into the personal explorations undertaken by the emerging artists. The exhibition includes sculptural ceramics, hot sculpted and blown glass, kiln formed and cast glass, using both new and old techniques and technologies.

The exhibition is open daily until 31st October. While you’re there, enjoy coffee, lunch or dinner at the fully licensed restaurant. To book for lunch or dinner, phone 7111 2690.
