Children bring Christmas cheer to Deepwater Court

The true meaning of Christmas was very evident at Living Choice Deepwater Court on Friday 14th December when kindergarten pupils from Woy Woy Public School visited residents to spread some Christmas goodwill.

Armed with big smiles and their best singing voices, the children sang some well-loved Carols and performed a song from their recent school concert. Afterwards they joined residents at tables in the community centre for an enjoyable colouring-in session.

Resident Thea Brayshaw, who has been responsible for forging close ties between the village and the school, said the concert was a wonderful way to enrich the lives of both residents and pupils. “The pupils also visited at Easter and some of our residents assist with reading at the school too. It’s a great way for both young and old to interact in a positive way.”
