Christmas Fours fun at
Avoca Beach Bowls Club
Fifty-six bowlers took to the rinks at Avoca Beach Bowls Club to play in the annual Christmas Fours competition on Sunday 27th November. Living Choice is a proud sponsor of the club and our Central Coast Sales Team of Alicia Stacey and Dave Grassby were in attendance.
Tony Pointing from Avoca Beach Bowls reported that the day was a great success, with 18 ends of top-quality bowls from the 14 teams.
Tony said, “After the tournament, the members sat down to a splendid roast lunch followed by random-draw prizes for 8 of the teams, four winners and four losers. The cash prizes were presented by Dave and Alicia.
Alicia said, “Everyone was in great spirits and dressed in their best Christmas get-up. There were lots of laughs and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time”.
Avoca Beach Bowls Club is undergoing a large extension including a 2.5-million-dollar new alfresco area seating a further 250 people and the addition of a new children’s playground.
