Dancing returns to Fullarton at fully booked Cabaret

The auditorium floor was bouncing at Living Choice Fullarton on 13th March when 74 residents and guests danced the night away at the first Cabaret of the year. Just one week prior, the State COVID-19 restrictions had been relaxed to allow dancing and the excitement was palpable!

Live music was back in the village as the acclaimed three-part harmony group,  “The Beggars” entertained a “full house”. Residents toe-tapped and sang along to this versatile group who are as well known in Europe as they are here. It was an extra special evening for resident Pauline Southam who celebrated her 91st birthday at a table with neighbours and friends.

There were many compliments about the delicious 2-course dinner for Damien Hein and his team from the onsite restaurant, Damien on Fisher Restaurant. Co-organiser Sandra Maynard said many residents had commented that it was a joyful evening. “Even as a COVID-Safe event, people were able to dine and dance together for the first time in many months. They all excited and looking forward to more Cabaret shows during the year.”
