Exciting destinations tempt travellers at Woodcroft
Living Choice Woodcroft residents were tempted to pack their suitcases and head off to a diverse range of exciting travel destinations following a well-attended travel presentation organised by Rosalie Stott of Inflight Travel on Wednesday afternoon. Many Living Choice clients also joined the residents for the fun afternoon, enjoying complimentary drinks and delicious finger food and taking the opportunity to view the homes currently available.
Rosalie said there was plenty of interest in the tours on offer, which included rail, cruises and tours for solo travellers. “People were also pleased to hear that Inflight Travel agents offer a mobile service and will meet people to discuss their travel requirements in the privacy of their own homes. We are also fully licensed and accredited agents.”
Matthew Dommenz from The Journey Beyond highlighted the rail tours available, including the popular Ghan and the Indian Pacific. Brenton Reidy from P &O and Cunard spoke about the cruises available from Adelaide as well as the renowned Cunard cruise liners, the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.
There was also plenty of useful information for single travellers with Roz Meertens of Wendy Wu Tours unveiling details of new tours to China, India, Japan and the Trans-Siberian Railway.
Sales manager, Katherine Stacey, said many residents travelled regularly due to the fact they could “lock up, leave and travel”. “Retirement community living frees up time to travel as there are fewer chores, less maintenance and you don’t have to worry about finding someone to look after your house or garden,” she added.
