Father’s Day comes early at Deepwater Court

It’s a small village, but with a big heart. Living Choice Deepwater Court’s Social Committee arranged a lovely lunch for the gentleman in the village to celebrate Father’s Day.

Children from the Guliyali Pre-School also visited and played alphabet bingo with the residents.

Village Manager Rebecca Roese said, “It was a huge hit. The children presented the males in the room with a gift they had made of a beaded keyring and chocolates”.

Once the children left, residents enjoyed a lovely lunch of party pies, sausage rolls and delicious slices all homemade by Cherie Johnston, Monica Floyd and Dawn Haworth.
