Finding a purpose through a love of textiles

Elizabeth Long of Living Choice Broadwater Court is one busy lady who loves to share her passion for textile art with others.

Liz, who joined the Country Women’s Association (CWA) more than a year ago, says that while working on her masterpieces, her art keeps her brain engaged and encourages lateral thinking.

Currently working on projects for her grandchildren, Liz says she hopes that when the time comes the items will be a part of their home and something they can treasure for many years to come.

Liz adds that her passion for textiles has been a fantastic addition to her busy life and that over the years, she has received awards from The Quilters' Guild of NSW for her works of textile art.
