Fitting Cabaret finale at Fullarton

The 2022 Cabaret season at Living Choice Fullarton ended on a high note with nearly 100 residents and friends enjoying a wonderful evening of music, singing and dancing.

Living Choice Ambassador, Keith Conlon OAM, was a big attraction, taking to the drums with his jazz band to provide the entertainment, along with Kerin Bailey on piano, Peter Dowdall on bass and well-loved, talented singer, Marlene Richards.

It was a long day for Keith, who had performed on the Dixieland float at the Christmas Pageant earlier that day!

Cabaret co-organiser, Sandra Maynard, said the band “read the audience well”, entertaining everyone with some quiet jazz while the guests enjoyed a two-course dinner from Castello’s Cucina, the village’s onsite restaurant.

“As the auditorium heated up, so did the musical pace and guests crowded the dance floor, swinging the night away and singing along to a plethora of well-known songs, including some rock ‘n roll and perennial favourites, Abba,” she said.

“It was a fitting and uplifting end to a diverse year of entertainment at Living Choice Fullarton.”
