Flagstaff Hill residents enjoy dinner dance

While Living Choice Flagstaff Hill residents don’t have their own leisure centre yet, they still manage to have a lot of fun! They go on outings, have `happy hours’ and attend social events at the adjacent Flagstaff Hill Golf Clubhouse. The best thing about the club events is that you can stroll home after enjoying a couple of drinks!

Recently, 21 residents attended a dinner dance at the club and resident Wendy Butler, said it was a fabulous evening with delicious food and great entertainment.

“The Southern Ukulele Strummer Band played music from the 50’s through to 80’s. They call themselves Adelaide's Oldest Teenagers. It was wonderful for the residents to catch up and some were even seen on the dance floor bopping to the music,” she said.

The club recently announced an extension of existing bar hours on Sunday and the new bar hours are now between 11am and 5pm. The club is also running a new promotion on Sundays after 11am, whereby each member may bring one guest to play golf at no cost.
