Flagstaff Hill’s Wendy scoops A Grade Champs!

It’s been 21 years since Wendy Butler has won the A Grade Women’s Championships at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club. Now the proud Living Choice Flagstaff Hill resident has reclaimed the coveted trophy after being runner-up for many years.

The Flagstaff Hill Women’s Championships are held over three weeks and the final was held on Tuesday 29th March. Wendy played Kwang Choi in the final and it went down to the wire, with Wendy winning 1 up after 27 holes of tightly contested golf. Many spectators followed the duo and enjoyed watching some terrific golf.

Wendy, the first resident to move into the village, said living so close to the course was a great help and she was able to put in many hours of practice before the championships.

Congratulations, Wendy – the Living Choice team and fellow residents are very proud of you!
