Fond farewell to Elizabeth at Fullarton

The Tuesday Morning Coffee Group (pictured) at Living Choice Fullarton, along with Helen Bonet and the Happy Crafters, arranged a special Morning Tea for Elizabeth Searle which was attended by 40 residents.

Elizabeth (seated centre) has been a resident at Fullarton for many years and has now moved to Resthaven Residential Aged Care in Marlborough Street.

In her time at Fullarton, Elizabeth touched many lives through her involvement in the activities offered. These included Happy Hour, scrabble in the Breezeway, lawn bowls, bocce, daily walks, seated exercises, Rummikub, Shuffleboard, dinner at the Friday Residents’ Table, Happy Crafters, MahJong, aquarobics, Canasta - and not forgetting Baileys with her close friends Barbara Juma, Heather Geytenbeek and Judith Grandioso.

Those at Elizabeth’s farewell described her as a role model and a special friend. She will be missed but not forgotten as Resthaven is within walking distance of the village
