Fullarton’s Cabaret evening proves a winner
The bi-monthly Cabaret evenings at Living Choice Fullarton have become so popular that if you want to attend the next one in May, you should diarise it now – Saturday 9th May.
Last Saturday’s event featuring the Keith Conlon Jazz Four, including the talented Kerin Bailey, was a sell-out and what a fabulous evening it was! The band had most people on the dance floor from the opening song and several hours later, people were still imploring for an encore.
The two-course dinner prepared by the on-site restaurant, Damien on Fisher, was superb and guests raved about the perfectly cooked steak or fresh barramundi, served as an alternate drop. The dessert was decadently delicious but with all the energetic dancing throughout the night, the extra calories were soon burned off!
110 people attended the event, comprising around 60 percent residents and 40 percent visitors from surrounding suburbs. Take a bow, resident organisers Sandra Maynard, Helen Bonet and Gill Miller plus their many helpers – the cabaret event is certainly a winner!
