Fullarton’s Fashion Fiesta attracts a big crowd
The annual Fashion Fiesta is a highlight on Living Choice Fullarton’s social calendar and this year’s extravaganza did not disappoint with more than 140 people enjoying the popular fashion show hosted by The Glam Gallery.
Organised by Helen Bonet, Christine Murray and a team of helpers, this year’s event included an optional “Luxe Hi-Tea” prior to the fashion show with guests feasting on mouth-watering delicacies prepared by Damien on Fisher Restaurant and unlimited sparkling wine. The exclusive “pre-show” event was fully booked and is set to be repeated next year.
Helen said The Glam Gallery’s family had three generations participating in some way and were most professional. “Sixteen residents also helped on the day, setting up, meeting and greeting, showing people to their seats and serving bubbly. Our men looked terrific, providing a silver tray service to our VIP front row people during the first half.”
Residents also participated as models. “During the break two of the residents were whisked off and were dressed and accessorised by the Glam Gallery team. They came back at the start of the second half and paraded for us all to see the transformation!”
The lucky draw prizes totalled a whopping $900 and after the fashion show, everyone was invited into the auditorium to view the rest of the range, which included resort wear, eyewear, jewellery, accessories, bags and gifts. A variety of the products are designed in New York using Swarovski crystals. To find out more, see www.theglamgallery.com.au
