Galston Leisure Centre Construction Update – September 2026
Exciting progress continues across the new Leisure Centre and luxury apartment development, with several major milestones recently achieved.
The most visible change is the installation of the roof, which now defines the impressive scale of the building and allows preparations to begin for the installation of solar panels. As the structure takes shape, it is easier to envisage the building layout that will soon become a central hub of community life.
In the photo gallery, the grand foyer is now clearly distinguishable and is set to become the welcoming heart of the Leisure Centre. This expansive space will feature the main lounge and bar area. To the right of the foyer, the pool and sauna precinct, along with office spaces, are steadily progressing, while the auditorium & cinema entrances on the left-hand side is also taking shape.
Inside the building, fire services are currently being installed throughout the Leisure Centre, while ceiling grids are being fitted to accommodate lighting, air conditioning and other essential services.
Construction is also advancing on the first-floor luxury apartments. Gyprock installation is well underway, with cabinetry now being installed and tiling progressing throughout the residences.
With every stage of construction, the vision for this landmark Leisure Centre becomes increasingly clear, and we look forward to sharing further updates as work continues.
