Glenhaven clients learn about village life
Living Choice Glenhaven’s staff and committee members hosted an Information Session and Morning Tea for clients recently, including many clients who are on the waiting list for Stage 3.
The waitlist clients have been patiently waiting for the State Planning Panel’s approval of the extension to the village and Regional Manager, Gail Eyres and sales consultant Carlie Fisher have regularly invited them to the village to meet their future neighbours.
“I thought it would be good for our clients to learn first-hand from committee members about governance at the village and the important roles the committee members have in ensuring a happy and harmonious village,” said Gail.
Presentations were given by Committee Chairman, Harry Kensell and committee members, Peter Henderson, David Nelson, Heather York, Maurice York and John Vickery.
Jim Gibbons, President of the NSW Retirement Villages Residents’ Association, also gave a short talk on the work of the association and Jason Sack, Living Choice General Manager (NSW & SA), presented Jim with a signed copy of the Code of Conduct.
Living Choice is a proud supporter of the Code of Conduct, which was formulated by the Retirement Living Council, Leading Aged Care Services, Residents’ Associations, Resident Committees and residents themselves and reflects the industry’s commitment to provide higher standards and peace of mind to those who choose to living in a retirement village.
