Bernie Wykes!
Living Choice Alloura Waters celebrated resident Bernie Wykes 102nd birthday with a gathering at the Davistown RSL & Bowls Club. Hosted by his immediate neighbours in the village, residents enjoyed drinks and lunch to celebrate Bernie’s special day.
Bernie was a keen lawn bowler up until late last year. He is also known for his love of long-distance road racing in his younger years.
Perhaps keeping active may be the secret to a long life and Bernie is a wonderful example of this.
Congratulations Bernie - we wish you well as you enjoy your birthday celebrations.
