Happy Valley bowls us over
More than 100 people of all ages enjoyed a fun “Come & Try Day” at Happy Valley Bowling Club on Sunday 16th September. Living Choice was a sponsor of the day and Mayor Lorraine Rosenberg, a long-time supporter of the club, attended with several council members.
Ian Farrows of Happy Valley Bowls said the weather was beautiful and participants were aged from 9 to over 70. “Many also signed up for our Night Owls, starting in October. However, we still have room for more bowlers,” he said.
Happy Valley Bowling Club was recently awarded “Bowls SA – Club of the Year”. Congratulations to the committee and devoted members. Several residents at Living Choice Woodcroft are members at the club and it is hoped that future residents at Living Choice Flagstaff Hill will support the club too.
