Hole-in-one highlight at
Southern Group Vets

The Southern Group Veteran golfers capped off a great year of golf, travelling to South Lakes Golf Course in Goolwa for their December tournament. The highlight was a hole-in-one by David Crabb. Congratulations to Darryl Fry who was the overall winner with a great score of 38 points.

Captain John Hudson said it had been a wonderful day at South Lakes. “The weather was kind to us, the course was in excellent condition and the hospitality in the clubrooms was fantastic. There was one outstanding achievement by David Crabb who scored a hole-in-one on the longest Par-3 hole on the course. Well done, David and I hope the prize of a dozen golf balls brings you more good fortune.”

John congratulated Ross Rigby on winning a Life Member’s Award which is presented to the player who returns the best aggregate score over nine games played during the year.

“Thank you to our major sponsor Living Choice for their continuing support and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and the New Year to you all.”
