Impressive art on show at Fullarton

The opening night of the March `Art Expression @123 Fisher’ exhibition at Damien on Fisher Restaurant, located at Living Choice Fullarton, proudly showcased the work of talented artist, Lloma Mackenzie. The wine was sparkling, the crowd was in awe and the artwork was outstanding.

Combining inks, lino paper and mixed media in the production of contemporary printmaking, Lloma uses traditional and alternative methods of lino-cutting to create both delicate and bold artworks. Lloma exhibits throughout Australia and internationally and draws inspiration from both the nature and man-made environments. Exploring the themes of place and memory, Lloma uses layers of translucent inks, crafting detailed exhibition pieces in both two-dimensional and installation forms.

Lloma’s exhibition was officially opened by Vicki Reynolds, Senior Lecturer at the Adelaide College of Arts. There was a good attendance for the opening night and all the art was very well-received by the attendees. Living Choice proudly sponsored the opening night with drinks and nibbles.

The exhibition will be running until 30th March. Why not make a day of it and enjoy coffee, lunch or dinner at Damien’s while you view the art. Don’t forget to book a table by calling (08) 7111 2690.
