In honour of the ANZAC’s at Deepwater Court

Residents of Living Choice Deepwater gathered in their community centre to commemorate and pay tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of ANZAC soldiers.

A full brunch of sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms was served, followed by a dessert of choice.

Resident Elaine Halliday’s niece, Bianca travelled up from Sydney with her trombone to play the Last Post.  The Ode was recited by all, followed by singing Advance Australia Fair.

Thea Brayshaw said, “It was lovely to see the residents come together to commemorate and pay their respects in honour of our veterans.”
