A new adventure for Juliet

Juliet Morrell, sales consultant at Leisure Lea Gardens for the past 12 years, has always been a person of few words but those who know her well can also attest that she has the biggest heart.
Juliet does not like a fuss so when she handed in her resignation recently, she was probably relieved that, because of the COVID-19 lockdown, a suitable farewell could not be held.
The residents had other ideas, however, and Juliet was overwhelmed by the generosity, kind words and well wishes she received. Juliet was inundated with flowers, chocolates and other lovely gifts as her final day, Friday 27th August, approached. One by one, residents popped in to express their sadness, but also their well wishes for her future endeavours.
NSW Regional Manager, Gail Eyres arranged a “farewell” via Zoom with staff members from other villages, including Living Choice General Manager, Jason Sack. Gail thanked Juliet for her hard work over the years and said she would be greatly missed. “We will always remember your uniqueness and we wish you well on your next adventure,” she said.
It was hard to pin down Juliet in the final few days of her time with Living Choice, but we did manage to get a few words out of her!
Juliet said she joined Living Choice after emigrating from the UK 12 years ago. “It was my first job in Australia - and I have loved every minute. Apart from sales, I have organised display homes, apartment photography, open days in conjunction with our wonderful Resident Ambassadors and attended expos. During the COVID lockdown, I have helped to deliver meals, done accounts and even some cleaning. However, I could never have done my job without the support of Village Manager, Linda Savige and so many others.”
As Linda said, “Juliet will be a hard act to follow!”
