Kawana Island residents living life to the full

The residents at Living Choice Kawana Island love socialising and organised outings are often held outside the village. Recently, the ladies’ group enjoyed a fabulous day out at the Gun Cotton Coffee Café in Yandina. Their last outing of the year will be on 23^rd November when they will have breakfast at the Pocket Express in Moffat Beach.

Not to be outdone, there is a men’s lunch club too and recently, they travelled by bus and car to the Caloundra Power Boat Club for a wonderful lunch. Organiser David Thomas said 26 “drunken sailors” attended and everyone had a great time.

There are plenty of upcoming events being held within the village too, including the annual Toy Handover on 27^th November and the popular Old Time Music Hall & Christmas Dinners which are being held on the 2^nd, 5^th, 6^th, 16^th and 19^th December.
