Lift-off at Living Choice Flagstaff Hill!

Stage 1 of Living Choice Flagstaff Hill was launched at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club on Saturday 23rd February and long-time Flagstaff Hill Golf Club member, Wendy Butler, made sure she was there early to secure her preferred home.

Wendy, a past ladies’ captain and club champion, has been a member at the club for 28 years and since the first Living Choice information session, she has had her eye on a 3-bedroom villa design called the St Andrews. She signed up just a few minutes after the Open Day started and was warmly congratulated by Living Choice director, Ian Tregoning and sales manager, Katherine Stacey.

“I’m looking forward to the lifestyle, being able to play more golf, using the new facilities planned for the clubhouse and getting involved in the social side of things,” she said.

The launch of South Australia’s first fully integrated golf course retirement community attracted a big crowd with golf club members and interested retirees crowding around the display posters showing the villa designs, site layout and clubhouse and apartment plans.

The practice putting green was a hive of activity too with PGA Professional Sarah Douglass-Norris running putting competitions for people of all ages.

High profile guests included Onkaparinga Mayor, Erin Thompson, golf course architect Neil Crafter, State MP Steve Murray who donned an apron to assist at the Aberfoyle Lions BBQ, President of SA Retirement Village Residents’ Association, Bob Ainsworth, Chairpersons of Living Choice Fullarton and Living Choice Woodcroft, John Hughes and Alice Conway, and Living Choice Ambassador, Keith Conlon OAM. Keith also accepted a cheque for $2,000 on behalf of the Cancer Council for his participation in the recent “Ride for a Reason” event.

Living Choice has opened an on-site sales office which is open daily Mondays to Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. To find out more about this exciting new village, see https://livingchoice.com.au/retirement-villages-adelaide/flagstaff-hill/
