`Lights Up’ at Fullarton

Residents, their grandchildren and visitors embraced the opportunity to celebrate the advent of the Christmas season at the annual “Lights Up” event held at Living Choice Fullarton on Friday 18th November.

Held during the usual `Happy Hour’, co-organiser, Helen Bonet, described it as “simply the best `Lights Up’ as we celebrated our seventh Christmas at Fullarton”.

“The entertainers wore beautiful evening clothes and Yuki and Yumi so cleverly played four-handed piano. Yuki played her way through our Christmas songbook, enthusiastically accompanied by more than 100 people seated around the grand piano. Then Yuki accompanied the extraordinary and exquisite soprano voice of Hisae Woods, who had the crowd calling for more as her voice soared to the roof of our Great Hall,” said Helen.

“Bette Hall was delighted to light the tree this year and all the visiting grandchildren were thrilled to receive their `Goodie Bags’ filled with lollies and trinkets. The bar was open so there was plenty of Christmas cheer!”

Congratulations to all the organisers for yet another successful community event on Fullarton’s jam-packed annual calendar.
