Living Choice sales teams fly the flag at Hornsby Expo
Come rain, hail or shine, you can count on Living Choice’s sales teams to not let the company down! On Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd March, the annual Sydney Retirement Villages Expo was held at the Hornsby RSL Club and the sales teams from Glenhaven, Leisure Lea Gardens and Living Choice’s Central Coast villages were all booked to attend. All the display signage had been packed in various cars, together with brochures, invitations to open days, prize hampers and Living Choice carry bags. Then the biggest rain event in decades hit NSW!
Two staff members, Regional Manager Gail Eyres and sales consultant Carlie Gowenlock live in flood-prone areas so, to ensure they could still attend the expo, they stayed at accommodation in Galston the previous night. Subhash Chander, Glenhaven’s Maintenance Supervisor, accompanied them to the expo early on the Sunday morning to help set up – after attending to flooding issues at the village on Saturday night! Meanwhile, Central Coast sales consultants Dave Grassby and Alicia Stacey, navigated the torrential rain to travel to Hornsby from Kincumber. Both Linda Savige, Village Manager at Leisure Lea Gardens and Juliet Morrell, sales consultant, braved the elements to get there too. Group GM, Jason Sack, also managed to fly in from Adelaide.
Despite the conditions, around 200 people attended the expo on the first day, followed by around 100 visitors the next day. Gail Eyres said she was immensely proud of the NSW team, especially as some other retirement village operators did not turn up. Take a bow, NSW team!
