Living Choice surprises Veteran
golfers at Tailem Bend

The Lower Murray & Hills Veteran Golfers ventured to Tailem Bend on Monday 17th July and President Colin Stevens said it was one of the coldest mornings in SA for some time. However, there were a couple of surprises in store for the hardy golfers, which made the trip worthwhile.

“Our hosts at Tailem Bend welcomed us with hot coffee and scones, jam and cream on arrival. Then we had to go and play golf!” said Colin.

“The 9-hole course was in good condition with greens mowed and fairways trimmed. It is really good for a course run by volunteers,” he added.

On arrival back at the clubhouse, Colin said everyone was surprised to see Living Choice Regional Manager, Katherine Stacey and Sales Consultant, Sue Lock, waiting for them with prizes and a raffle.

“I didn't think they would venture out so far but they were in Murray Bridge and thought they would drop into Tailem Bend to visit us. What a great and welcome surprise!

“The ladies at Tailem Bend provided a wonderful lunch after which we did our presentations and drew the raffle winner. Once again, Living Choice was generous with towels and balls and other give-ways – thank you, Living Choice,” said Colin.

Katherine and Sue took the opportunity to promote Living Choice’s retirement villages in Adelaide – Flagstaff Hill, Woodcroft and Fullarton – and also their recently announced Over 50s Lifestyle Resorts at Mount Barker and Murray Bridge.
