MP presents Aussie flag to Woodcroft residents

Happy Hour for Living Choice Woodcroft residents was made a little more special last week. As a token to our country, Living Choice villages fly the Australian flag out the front of each village with pride. As our weather can be quite harsh, the flags perish quickly.

When the residents gathered for a glass or two of wine and to catch up on the week, it set the scene for the perfect opportunity for an Australian flag to be presented. Local MP Amanda Rishworth presented the village, in particular the Chairperson of the Residents’ Committee, Phil Headon, with a new Australian flag that will fly high with pride out the front of the village.

“It was lovely to have our MP Amanda Rishworth present the Australian flag to the residents of Woodcroft Living Choice on Friday,” said Village Manager, Gail Pounsett. “She gave us some insights on the protocol of our precious flag which was well-received. Amanda has also promised to come back for a special celebration when we complete the new green space we are currently working on in the village.”
